Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and the people who run Face Rating at face-rating.org ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you don't, please don't use the site.

What the site does

You upload a photo of a face. Software in your browser measures it, and an AI vision model writes a report with a 1–10 rating, notes on each feature, an apparent age and, on the look-alike page, famous people you resemble.

What the results are, and are not

• Measurements (symmetry, golden-ratio proportions, face shape, eye shape) are geometry taken from landmarks on your photo. Head angle, lens distance, lighting and expression all change them, so the same face can measure differently in two photos.
• The rating, notes, age and look-alikes are an AI model's opinion. Beauty is subjective and cultural; no number can say what a person is worth.
• Nothing here is medical, cosmetic-surgery or psychological advice, and nothing here identifies anyone. Look-alikes are an impression of shared features, not face recognition.

The site is for curiosity, fun and practical grooming or photo tips. Don't use a result to make decisions about other people.

Free use

Each visitor can run 5 reports a day for free, without signing up. After that, leaving an email address unlocks 20 more for the rest of that day (UTC). The allowance is per person: it is counted per network and per device, and using extra devices, browsers, VPNs or scripts to get more is not allowed. A report that fails on our side is not counted; a photo the AI rejects as unusable is. We may change or pause the allowance at any time.

Photos you upload

• Upload photos of yourself, or of adults who have agreed to be analyzed.
• Never upload photos of anyone under 18.
• No nudity, sexual content, violence, hate or anything illegal where you or we are.
• Don't use the site to rate, mock or harass someone else.

You keep every right to your photo. You allow us to process it and pass it once to our AI provider only to produce your report; we don't store it (see the Privacy Policy).

Your report

Your report is yours to keep, screenshot and share. Please don't present it as a scientific or professional assessment.

Things you must not do

• Break the law or anyone's rights while using the site.
• Get around the free allowance or rate limits.
• Scrape, overload or probe the site, or try to reach data that isn't yours.
• Resell the service or build a product on it without our written permission.

Our content

The site's design, text and logo belong to us; don't copy them without permission. The face landmark model is open-source software from Google's MediaPipe project, used under its own license.

Changes, suspension and ending access

We can change, pause or stop any part of the site. If you break these terms, we may block your access without notice.

No guarantees

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always work, be free of errors, or give the score you hoped for.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim connected with the site is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is more. Nothing here takes away rights that the law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, so does the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.
